This Extra Care Development was completed for our client Halton Housing Trust which comprised of 47No Extra Care Apartments linked to communal areas and facilities including main kitchen and bistro, multi-purpose lounge, dining or function room, communal assisted bathrooms, hair salon suite and spa facility.
A full Tunstall warden call and access control system links each apartment with the onsite warden and fob access by way of integrated apartment door handle sets have been fitted to eliminate a need for a resident key.
PV panels have been installed on the roof with an output in the order of 53KW with an anticipated energy saving of approximately £4,000 per annum. The investment of the renewable technology equals to approximately £120K.
The communal areas of the building received a fully co-ordinated interior design resulting in the highly impressive and very comfortable radiant spaces within the building.
